In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

We had a wonderful time when we stayed at your home and so glad we got to meet you. We know you are at peace & no longer suffering.

My Dad was the rock in my life and I miss him terribly. He was a very good Father and provider for my Mom and I. He worked very hard and long hours at his own business to provide for us and so my Mom did not have to work. I admired his dedication and strong work ethics which I learned from.

It was a pleasure to know you. Thanks for the happy memories.

I knew Jim a short time and all ways was welcome to his home.
I was able to travel with him down the last road of life. Good Racing
on the side.

You all know how close I was to my Grampa... I miss you so much Grampa. I have such fond memories of growing up with you, and how you were such a strong presence in my life for all these years. You instilled some strong morals and ethics in me, I hope you're proud. I am of you.

I'll knock down a Bud every know and then for you when I go to fish the Arkansas in memory of the great times we had while you were here in Colorado. It sure is a beautiful place isn't it? I know you...

Jim will always be remembered for his good-natured humor and loving, caring hospitality. You will be missed. Rest peacefully...

Jim - You will be missed. Although you were a part of our lives for a short time, you have made a lasting impression. Where you are now - there is not any illness or pain. God would not allow that. Here's to another angel looking down on us - Love always.

For a guy that liked to watch round-dee-rounds (NASCAR) your allright! Watching grass grow is probably more enjoyable. Here's to you buddy! Cheers! One less good guy on the planet. Peace be with you.
