Mr. Dowd was my physics teacher in High School. I used to go to his room before school began and we would play a game with a dented copper ball, i.e., trying to get it to roll across the table top and stop several inches before falling over the edge. I was so very saddened to hear of Mr. Dowd's Passing. He was an excellent teacher at my school in East Longmeadow. My thoughts prayers an deepest condolences go out to all of his beautiful family and friends. Jack Evans
