Long ago, but fond and happy memories of the Dowd family at Lake Wildwood in the 70´s with cocktail parties, pot luck dinners and teaching the kids how to waterski. Always looking for Jim when traveling on the highways in and around Daly City. My sympathies to those great children; you had great parents. Marsha Klein

I met Jim in the early 80's and had the honor to have a beer or 2 with him and the rest of the great group of guys from the CHP. I will keep Jim and his family in my prayers. Rest well brother.

Jim was a good guy, fun to talk to, and always had a smile. Met him several times over the years at the SFFD luncheons. He will be missed RIP Jim
