Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear of James' passing. He was a great mentor to me when I started working in Ann Arbor as a programmer in 2000. I was so intimidated by his knowledge and he always shared with me what he knew. Rest assured that his work will be churning away in the cloud for years to come. God bless!

Hello Lois, this note is for you, someone I think about every day as I use the spoon holder that sits of my stove top. You gave me that many years ago, made by a potter near the SDSU campus. The internet is wonderful if one takes the time to look and I found you. So sorry to hear about your dear husband and also your health issues. I am going to send along my e-mail and if you care to respond I would love hearing from you. I retired 18 years ago but keep in touch with many fellow...

My name is Candace Cabot and I went to p.s.81 in the Bronx with miriam Kuznets. Miriam was a lovely young lady remembered with fondness. Never met her Dad__only Mom. My point ,,the way miriam was__you know she had good parents.

I had the privilege of working with him at FAME in Ann Arbor. Jim was one of the most unassuming person and humility was at the core of his personality. Always willing to help and mentor, Jim was an excellent teacher. May his soul rest in peace. ? ?????:!

I have had the glorious pleasure getting to know and loving Jim for over 15 years. He remained a youthful person who loved theater, acting, and sharing his time with all of us. He could swing a mean hammer when building sets for productions, he could make me laugh at times when I thought I would never laugh. I so miss him.

I have known Jim for many years as an English Country dancer. Whenever he wasn't acting in a play he was at the Tuesday night dance. He was always such a great supporter of the music and dance. His loss will be felt by all in the ECD community. My heartfelt wishes for strength to his family.

Jim was brilliant and had a great way with people. He had a wonderful sense of humor.

"Father Time" is how I remember Jim. I had the extreme please to work with Jim from 1995 to 2009 where he architected a time-series database management system used throughout the world today. I will always cherish the time I got to spend with him and what I have learned from him. Rest in peace my friend.

I am so sorry to hear this; I will miss Jim at the Tuesday night dances. He was always a gracious partner, and interesting to talk to .
