Not sure what to say?

Jimmy Doyle was like an extra dad to me during my teenage years - my dad was one of his best friends, and not a very level-headed or responsible adult. Jimmy was always there for me to show love and support, to be the calm when my dad and I were storming, and of course, to put gas in my car. He is also the reason I had the best cat ever: One winter day, Jimmy was out walking his dog, Mister, when they found a litter of abandoned, frozen kittens. One of them survived and became my beloved...

I have such great memories of growing up with Jimmy & the rest of my cousins. Sending much love & prayers from my family to yours.

To my best Friend, I will never forget you, and all the memories we shared together. Rest in peace.

RIP Uncle Jimmy , you will be missed , love you , your nephew Tom .

Jimmy and the Doyle family have been woven into the fabric of our family since childhood days on Harriet Street. We´ll never forget his smile, his friendship, and the way he was always there to help. It meant so much when he made sure our dad could stay in the home he loved. We carry those memories with us and are holding all of you in our hearts.

There was no truer friend than Jimmy. He´s been only a phone call or a shout away since our family moved to Norwalk in 1956. Always ready to give of himself, always ready to give to others. He was an angel on earth and now an angel in heaven. I know he´s kicked off he prosthetic and is playing golf on the most beautiful course he´s has even seen. Love you forever my sweetest, dearest friend. May you find peace wrapped in the wings of angels

So sorry to learn of Jimmy's passing. We remember him from living on Pulaski Street years ago. Always a lot of fun! Rest in peace Jimmy.

So sorry to hear about Jimmy´s passing. Kevin & Anita Gilchrist
