Not sure what to say?

James Drury was a great western actor. I watch the Virginian everyday.

Thank you James Drury for giving me and many others the joy of watching you in the Virginian tv series. I have always seen you as A great cowboy and now I read, you died like one. A great and
Honest man, Father, husband and friend. RIP our Texas Cowboy and friend. God bless your family!

The Virginian started out being my favorite show ever since I use to watch it with my grandpa back in the late 70’s. I still love and watch the show til this day, mainly because I love the music. I’m no relative or aquaintance of the family; just a #1 fan.

He was loved by everyone

I watched the Virginian growing up. I joined a band who's lead singer was Chris Drury. I asked him if he was related and he said "He's my father through adoption". James' son Timothy joined the band soon after, and we played many shows together. It was a trip to see James in the back row of the clubs slowly drinking his whiskey on the rocks. I met him at a charity event at the Autry museum several years before he passed. What a treat that was! Rest in Peace, sir!

My favorite cowboy.
