My sympathy to the Dukarski family during this time of loss. I knew Jim as a Bay City Police Department Reserve Officer and as a news reporter. As a lieutenant with the Bay City Police, he approved awarding me the department's highest honor, the Life Saving Medal for assisting another officer doing CPR on a heart attack patient May 18, 1987.
