James Duncan Sr.

I met Jim and Colleen Duncan when they first moved to Santa Fe from Kalmazoo, MI, and Jim became involved with the School of American Research (now School for Advanced Research). Jim visited us at our excavation site in Arizona with an SAR tour, and began to accompany us every field season that we worked in the Southwest, and even to Peru after that. Jim was the warmest, kindest person I know. He made me feel like I would be a success and made everyone he came in contact with feel better...
