Not sure what to say?

He was my father. I'll never forget him. I wish he could be there to see me graduate from college, get married, and have children in the future. But I know he's no longer in pain. He loved his friends and his family no matter what. And for a man who didn't go far in school he was so incredible smart I hope I'm half as smart as he was. I love you Daddy,
Elizabeth Dunne

Jimmy was a huge part of my life starting when I was in sixth grade. He was one of the most generous people I've ever known. He loved to see others have a good time, whether it was sitting in his cozy mountain cabin playing backgammon or enjoying a fabulous Italian meal. I learned generosity from him; to this day, I strive to give of myself without expectations of return. I learned the art of conversation while lingering at the dining table with him and my family. I learned how to take a...

Butch and I really enjoyed working with Jimmy. He was such a charasmatic individual and impecable dresser. He was one of the great ones in our industry and will be missed. We extended our deepest sympathy to family and please know you're in our prayers!

Jimmy was a second father to me when I was growing up. I would have to say he was a bigger influence in my life during those years than my father was.

Jim's intellect and love of reading, business and politics were very impressive to me during those formative years in my life. I credit him for my life-long interest in all those things.

Jimmy was very loving and giving to us kids growing up. We had wonderful times skiing at Mt. Hood and spending time at his cabin there....

I enjoyed working with Jimmy so much and am very sorry he is gone. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed. I remember his good nature (how he stoically endured the ribbing over his white Armani down vest), and his generosity (Roberta and I will never forget the downtown lunches he and a very young Elizabeth used to host as a token of apprecation for our hard work).

To Jimmy's family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. He is gone much too soon.

Jimmy Dunne...He was the kind of man you thought would live forever. He had a commanding presence and his personality was always the largest in the room. He had a zest and an appetite for life that I have not seen in many.

I worked with Jimmy for several years and I consider myself fortunate to have known him.

He will be greatly missed.

I feel lucky to have had Jim in my life through my teenage years. He was a gentle heart...with a New York attitude. I have nothing but great (and funny) memories of Jim, and thinking of him brings a smile to my face.

I have a feeling he is currently tanning by the worlds biggest pool, reading a book and telling stories. :)

I love you Jim. Thanks for blessing me with your friendship, guidance and love.
