I was greatly saddened to learn of Jim.s death. Since his passing, I have learned of his many wonderful accomplishments. He was not only a champion of the American Chestnut tree but many other nut trees. He was a past president of the Kentucky Nut growers. He was also a avid birdwatcher and loved nature.
