Edwards. Not only did this Governor appoint me to the S.C.Human Affairs Commission in 1976, he also extended an open invitation to me to visit his office at any time without an appointment. To this family, please know that your loss is shared by many with memories to cherish.

I am saddened to hear of Governor Edwards death. It was my extreme pleasure and honor to care for him on his visits to MUSC and Dr Fox. He was always so sweet and down to earth. Mrs Edwards and family my thoughts and deepest feelings go out to you all. I am a better person for having known him.
