Not sure what to say?

Dr. Enderson was my esteemed and admired adviser in the biology department at Colorado College. I just heard this sad news upon returning to Colorado Springs in November. I will relate a humorous story about Jim when he took a group of biology students for dinner at a Colorado Springs' pizza restaurant called Giuseppe's. We ordered a pitcher of beer and the only person the waitress carded was Jim. We all roared with laughter. Yes, he did look that young. A pitcher of beer for all those...

Jim and I both published scientific articles on Prairie Falcons, flew planes, and loved our old corvettes. I remember hiking to a peregrine falcon eyrie in northern California to check on his attempts to capture one of the few peregrines remaining in California (the population had been decimated by DDT) and place a transmitter on it to track its movements. I remember arriving at the cliff to find him standing with Monte Kirven, smoking his pipe, and holding an adult peregrine that he had...

We want to thank Jim for saving our grandson Alex Bole from drowning-God Bless

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER AND OUR MANY YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP. RALPH

Jim was always a pleasure to deal with as we did tires for him on many of his cars through the years. Our condolence to Betty and family

Tom and Brian Cleek and all the guys from Rex Tire

Jim was a classmate of mine in Joliet from 7th grade through high school. We were in R.O.T.C together. We kept in contact over the years because we were both antique car nuts. Jim was an all around good person. I send my sincere condolences to Betty and their family.

We worked on many of Jims cars over the years and enjoyed his sense of humor and talking of his love of cars.
Always nice to have him stop by the shop.
Thoughts and Prayers with you all.

Jim was a great colleague, highly valued friend, published scholar and excellent professor. His mind was sharp, his wit was amazing. He is among very finest to teach and conduct research at Colorado College. I remember him using the electronic balance in my lab to determine egg shell thinning in falcon eggs. He helped discover the damaging effect of DDT on the eggs and the birds.

We shall miss him very much and pass along our best wishes to his family

Jim was a wonderful, gentle professor and a man of distinction. I enjoyed our conversations and he always looked so young! I will miss him.
