Not sure what to say?

I was fortunate to have known James Vernon for several years in connection with our service on the Carolinas Association of Professional Insurance Agents. My deepest sympathy for his family.

James Vernon Epps. Anyone who heard his name knew him immediately and were blessed. I have known him for more than 30 years working for the independent agents association of which he served in many ways including president. During his year as president, he visited every member in North and South Carolina. Mr. James Vernon was "The Best Band Dad" of them all. So much discipline yet so much humor in dealing with hyperactive teenage boys. He was very special, will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

May God bless you all.

Miss Dot, John, Steve, and Leah,
My sympathies and prayers are with you at this sad time. I have so many fond memories of y'all and Lake City--Sunday School, church, youth group, and Bible School--
--band with John, riding in Steve's camaro, Baboo's place, and babysitting for Leah. Your dad was such a big part of LC Pres and of Lake City the town. He touched a lot of lives and will be missed.

A great friend for many years. My deepest sympathy to Dot and his family.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Mr Epps always had a welcoming voice and a very a big smile. He often shared with me the love that he had for the greater Lake City communtity. He was a teacher, friendly neighbor, and I will never forget him.

John and Family .... I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. James Vernon. My thoughts and prayers go with you all.
