Not sure what to say?

Please accept my sympathy at this sad time. I have known Jim through his volunteer work in our Emergency Department at Elmhurst Hospital. I will never forget his dedication to his job and his great sense of humor. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was an ER nurse too @ Elmhurat Hospital.
Jim would come in regularly in the wee hours of the morning, even in inclement weather...to help the night staff in the ER.
He became a member of our ER family, and we loved seeing his happy face.Rest in peace Jim.

I too was a Nurse in the ER at Elmhurst hospital, and that's how I met Jim.
Jim chose the wee hours of the morning to come in (he was our volunteer) ,as the night shift needed the help.Inclement weather didn't stop him.
He was a special friend to all of us, and I feel that he is in a special place now.
My Condolences to his wife, and family.

We will miss Jim and will never forget his caring ways for all people, be they neighbors, friends, EMH staff and patients.
We have lost a true friend who contributed much to humankind. Rest in peace, dear, dear friend.

He will be missed.I'm a nurse in the E.R. at Elmhurst Hospital and worked with him for years. I always looked forward to seeing him greeting patients, keeping the coffee pot filled or bringing his home baked "goodies".He took such a personel interest in the people he met. He always had a friendly hello in the Jewel when I would see him, asking about family and "what happened at work? He always said it like it was. A very caring sweet man. His memory goes on.
