James Howard Farley, age 67, of Birmingham, died Wednesday, August 21, 2019. James was the rock of his family and a true friend to many. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Natasha Williams Farley; his children, Rashin (Elle), April; and James A. Farley; three grandchildren, Chloe, Blake, and Karson; sisters, Corleen Denise Farley, Jean Farley Wilson (Charles), Maxine Farley Allen (Richard), and Seretta Farley Woods; other family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, Mozella and Earnest Farley; two sisters, Mary Lee and Ethel; and two brothers, Ernest (Lardell) and Lawrence. The celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Noon at Smith & Gaston Southside Chapel, 102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, Alabama with burial in Zion Memorial Gardens.
