Read MoreJim and Ginny were fond neighbors of ours and wonderful to have as part of the Grand Woods neighborhood. They both were such sweet people and always had a welcoming smile and wave as anyone came in and out of the neighborhood. They are deeply missed.

Like so many people I also share fond memories of my days working with and for Jim Farmer in adult education. Those were exciting times. We were all young pioneers creating programs for the community. Ginny and Jim were a team from the start and the rest of us made up a village. Rest in peace along with your love ones.

Jim, was my boss during my tenure with Grand Rapids Community Schools in the early 70's. His wife Ginny, was also a friend and I was saddened by her passing. He loved the city of Rockford and was proud to be from there. Rest in peace Jim, we had some great memories together.
