My wife Marcy and I were saddened by a phone call about Mr. Farrington's death. Jim was both my boss and mentor for 24 years at Cleveland Steel Specialty. He was the consumate professional small-business owner who carefully dissected every detail before making decisions. This made him a good teacher; and helped me in a career of construction hardware design. Often "alumni" returned to visit because of the affection they had for CSS. He is finally at rest with his beloved Ruthie.
