Not sure what to say?

This Fall I will be starting my 50th year teaching in Dist.#59 as a second grade teacher. I have been lucky to find my passion and I am most thankful that I worked WITH Jim Fay and not FOR! He, was compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, helpful and most of all full of "wisdom"! I learned a lot from him about being a teacher in Public Education and still look up to him as the Best Superintendent Ever! Jim, may you continue to rest in peace and know that you inspired me! Thank You!

Dear Joanne,
We just learned with sadness of Jim's passing. Good memories dating way back to Monitor Tap days and regrettably too few since then. Our love and sympathy to you and your family.

I have wonderful memories of Jim always listening to the teachers' perspective and ideas and respecting our opinions! I always felt that I could go to him when I needed help or ideas. He was a wonderful listener and really cared! That's why I say I worked WITH him! Many times teachers feel that they are working FOR someone! But with...
