Dear Colleen and Family,
I am deeply saddened to find out about Jim's death in August. We hadn't kept in touch with each other for the last 20 years, so I was quite astounded to read of his many accomplishments, personal and professional. You must have been so proud of him!
Jim (Dino was his nickname then) and I were "good buds", as his mother used to say- growing up as neighbors in Aitkin. Our mothers were good friends and after moving from Aitkin when I was 11, they kept in...

Dear Family of James Fearing,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy at this time of deep loss. James was an extraordinary human being and we felt priviledged to know him. My husband, Mark Heaslip, knew him through his Uncle "Butch" Heaslip. I got to know James as a result of several interventions which he conducted for friends here in Washington, DC. He gave from his heart and will be long remembered.
Sincerely,
Nancy Dudley

Colleen and Kids, I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of my friend Jim. I believe we were Junior High School age when he and his mom moved to Bemidji. Sandlot football, baseball or pickup basketball; Jim was always there on into organized sports at school. He and I spent many fall weekend days up early to get the "good spot" on a little lake west of town using a duck boat "a friend said I could use" (I'm not sure the friend knew where he was keeping his boat!). Jim's mom would...

Dear Family:
James will live on in my memory forever, along with many other friends he had from the Bryant Lake Group.
I had many great conversations with James during the yrs. that he attended BLG. It was amazing to watch his life unfold! What a miracle! God really gave us a gift in James.
My love to family and friends, (I was a friend/classmate of Kathy Farnum's).
Unfortunatley, I will be out of town during services.

Dear Colleen, Kelly and Danny,
I am so grateful that I was able to see you all in December and say goodbye to James. He meant so much to all of us from the Sapphire St Beach Group and we miss him. For many of us he was our hero. We are all praying for James and you. . He fought a good fight. And we loved him.

I cannot describe sufficiently the inspiration James brought to me in my early sobriety--
both for staying clean and sober, and, for living life to the fullest...
