Sending prayers, condolences, hugs and love to the Ferguson family. Atty. James Ferguson known to my family as "Papa B", will be missed. Papa B. was such a kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and down to earth person who would share his thoughts and opinions in such a profound way. Fergie was a class ahead of me at Columbia and became a friend when we moved to NC years later. He was an exemplar both professionally and personally. I hope that his family finds comfort in good memories of this person who made our world a better and more just place.
