I worked on the management team at the Oldsmobile store in downtown Tampa with Jim Jr. who inherited all of his fathers wonderful attributes.i will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to work for such a wonderful organization and family. Jimmy, and Cecilia, We heard about Senior's passing. Our world is a little darker today for the he was a joy and delight, a good and great man, and friend. Letter to follow. Philip Plyler

Although it was many years since I worked for Mr. Ferman Sr, I will never forget the kindness and generosity he showed to me and to all his employees. You have our deepest sympathy and prayers.

I went all through Plant High School with Jimmy. He had such a fun sense of humor. One of my fondest memories of him is after high school when I was working as a telegraph operator at the Floridan Hotel Jimmy came in and sent a telegram to Martha - it said "I love you" 100 times!
