Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for Senor's loss. He was one of the best teachers anyone could ask for and blessed our little town in having him. I am sorry to have lost touch with him. /Margarita '84-88

Señor Ferrell was an amazing teacher. I always admired his dedication and excitement in the classroom. I remember his yellow car and him speeding along in it. I also remember when I said "tortilla" incorrectly. He was so hilarious in correcting me. I have never forgotten how to say it again. "Claudia"

Señor Ferrell was one of my absolute favorite teachers of all time in High School. From his "poses" on school picture days, the "hair swipe" when he noticed a student got a haircut, to seeing "Tweety Bird" in the parking lot.. he just had a way of putting a smile on your face no matter what was going on. He always made me feel "seen" as a quiet nerd. I´m so sad to hear he has passed and send my deepest condolences to his surviving family and close friends.

Jim was an extraordinary person - a very compassionate and dedicated educator. It was an honor and privilege to be his friend and colleague for over 40 years. We shared many of life´s moments together and lots of laughs. I will remember him fondly and miss his many stories. Your health struggles are over.... Rest in peace, my friend.

Señor Ferrell was a great teacher. His lessons even helped me to help my daughter through her Spanish classes 30 years after taking his class. He was kind and helpful and fun. I enjoyed having him for a teacher.

Jim was a special man! He was a friend and teaching colleague; plus a favorite teacher of my own children. I think the world of him; the world is a lonely place w/o Jim!
