James Daniel FERSTLE

Jim's running career began at Toledo Central Catholic High School as he won the Toledo City Championship in the 2 Mile in 1968. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. Deep and sincere condolences to his wife, family, and friends. A memorial contribution in Jim's name has been made to the Class of 1968 Endowed Scholarship Fund at Toledo Central Catholic High School.

I am so saddened to hear of Jim´s passing. He was such an important, knowledgeable and friendly person in the running community. I enjoyed and learned very much during my many conversations with Jim. I really respect the enormous contributions he made to our sport and certainly the Twin City running community. He was really just a great guy.
