Not sure what to say?

I am expressing my sympathy to all his family and friends. Jimmy was a huge part of my childhood growing up in Weehawken and having him as my Dance Instructor for many years. Those were fun wonderful years and we will remember him always.

I have wonderful memories of the dance programs run by Jimmy Festa in the Weehawken Schools. I was fortunate enough to have been a participant He touched so many of our lives. I was truly saddened to hear of his passing.

So many lives were touched by Jimmy. He will live on in all of us for many years to come. I never dance without thanking him. I remember his joy and enthusiasm for life. I think of the car accident that could have taken him so young but thankfully didn't and left him to teach and enjoy a wonderful life. I am thankful that I got to speak to him a short time ago and thank him personally. Jimmy, be sure to take Anita,my mom, for one more spin around the floor in heaven.

June, Pete and Bob....
Sending my love and sincere condolences to each of you during this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers for God's peace, love, comfort and strength in the days ahead.

Mr Heart is heavy with sorrow. I will forever remember you Mr. Festa. Thank you for introducing me to the art of dance. You have inspired me in so many ways. Thank you. RIP

How can we ever thank this talented man for all he did for us? As a student in the Roosevelt School I remember the "ball-room dancing" classes he taught. Then as an adult I remember the ball-room dancing classes on Wednesday evenings. He was not only talented but a true cultured gentleman who spent his life giving people joy by teaching them to dance......he will be sorely missed.

Thinking of you, June, at this time. Until we meet again, Love, Carole McConaghy Runo xo

I have happy memories of serving waffles to "Uncle Jimmy" and the Buentello clan. Truly a class act! Honored to know you and love you...and I will get to Assisi and Padua some day!

Some of my fondest memories of growing up in Weehawken in the late 1950's are the dance lessons at Webster School taught by Jimmy Festa. He taught us wonderful Broadway numbers and basic dance steps for our first school dance. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
