Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of the passing of the FIZZ. He was a giant among DCFD communications. Always loved to work with him when I was detailed to communications. May he rest in peace. Tom Gardner Inspector Ret.

I will always remember you and the "dispatch number" you would give, "OI812". May you rest in peace. DCFEMS

Jimmy was arguably the finest dispatcher to ever work in Communications. I met him while assigned to the DCFD EAB (Ambulance 24) in 1988-89. He always managed to make everyone laugh while remaining cool under pressure. You'll never understand the impact you had on my life. I love you, brother. God bless you and your family.

To Chris, and the family and loved ones of James F. Figard, I'm at a loss for words...Jimmy was the first person I met at D.C. Fire Communications Division. I am honored to have known him and worked beside him, he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time,

Rest in peace "Fizz"...

To Jimmy's Family, I cannot express my sympathy enough for your loss. Jimmy was one of the most memorable people I have ever met and I am very honored to have known and worked with him.

To Chris and family:
I am truly sorry for the lost of your dad, if there is anything I can help you with, please don't hestitate to contact me. Jimmy has always been my HERO since I been working at comm. center. He's a legend in his own right. A friend and Hero Forever...Love Debbie
