Not sure what to say?

"Finkers" would have been 60 today!
I'm sure there's a big party in heaven to celebrate this occasion!

Dear Dave and Finks Family,

I was sad to read the news of Jim's passing. I never had the chance to meet Jim Jr. That being said, having met Mr. Finks Sr. and knowing the type of class guy Dave is, I know Jim Jr. was cut from the same cloth. May he rest in eternal peace and may God's light shine upon the Finks family.

Sincerely,

John P Weston

I'm working in a Bar in LA and in walks Jimmie. We renewed our friendship and he took me to a private box at a Dodger Game with Dallas Green and other important celebrities like Farah. Over the years we just ran into each other around Southern California and he lived down the street in Carlsbad. He sent me a incredible NFL Book! He will be missed. RIP Jim!

I was sadden to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with Jim at Upper Deck Authenticated. He had that bright smile, great personality and was a great man who cared.

I had the pleasure of catching up with Jim at Bunny's the night before our last reunion. I had not seen him for years but his infectious personality made me feel like we never lost touch with each other. A great friend and teammate. We lost a good one!

It was a pleasure to have known Jim.
God bless your soul.

Jim and I first met in 1976, when we both were on the staff of the Birmingham Bulls(WHA) and also worked together with the Portland Timbers(NASL).We remained friends through all the years. Jim was a class act and I will miss him greatly. My sympathy to the Finks family.
Farewell Finksy and thanks for your friendship and the memories.
