Dear Karen and family We were just looking up our dear friends and saddened to hear of Jim´s passing!! Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and family. Fran & John Morrissey

Saddened to hear the news. As a broadcaster, I worked with Jim on many restaurant related promotions and events. Also, over the years, I attended several church services in which he was a participant and leader. His dedication to God and the church were very evident. The community will certainly miss this kind man. My most sincere condolences to Jim's family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. I was privileged to be a part of Jim and Karen´s wedding party. May God bless and sustain you Karen, Kristen and family during this most difficult time. Sending love and prayers Connie (Collins) Nietz

So sorry to hear of Mr Fitzpatrick's passing. What a wonderful man! As years went on we would see him when he was with Bishop doing 1st Communions, Confirmations funerals and graduations. He was always so kind and friendly. We would also see him and his family at local baseball...

It was a joy singing with Jim in our church choir, with his voice adding that "special something" to all of our hymns. And he was always happy to help out with anything when asked, even while already living away from Toledo. My family and I send our...

Although we are members of St. Elizabeth's we frequently attend Mass at St. Joseph's in Roanoke. We were always delighted to hear Deacon Jim's humorous and thought provoking Homilies! They were very relatable. He will be missed! Praying for the repose of his soul... Phil & Becky Laughlin
