My deepest sympathy to Fr Flahive's family on his passing. Father and I met when he was chaplin at the Mercy and I was in high school working in the business office. He oft times asked me to say the angelus for him on his day off. Mind you it was said over an open mike which was heard all over the hospital, not to mention the sisters dining room.
