Not sure what to say?

Fr. Flahive will be in my thoughts and prayers. He will be sorely missed but is now at peace with our God.

My deepest sympathy to Fr Flahive's family on his passing. Father and I met when he was chaplin at the Mercy and I was in high school working in the business office. He oft times asked me to say the angelus for him on his day off. Mind you it was said over an open mike which was heard all over the hospital, not to mention the sisters dining room. One night I could not be there so asked a couple of my friends to do it for me. Well, one (who is now a missionary) was kneeling and looking so...

Mary and family:
You will remain in my thoughts and prayers during this time of your recent losses. I know your faith will always keep you strong.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Flahive family. I will always remember Fr. Flahive from Our Lady of the Lake Church. He was ever so kind. He was very special.

Father Flahive, may you rest in eternal peace. You will always be remembered for your kindnesses to our family during your tenure at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Southwick, MA. We will, also, remember the beautiful benediction you gave at our wedding. Your words remain in our hearts and lives, giving us the spiritual faith needed to sustain a healthy, wonderful marriage of 23 years. You were our "rock". Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with your family at this most difficult time.

OUR ETERNNAL PRAYERS AND GRATITUDE GO OUT TO THE ENTIRE FLAHIVE FAMILY. MANY YEARS AGO DR. FLAHIVE CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED OUR MOTHERS ILLNESS. WHEN IT WAS HER TIME TO BE WITH OUR LORD IT WAS FATHER FLAHIVE WHO WAS OUR PASTOR. BOTH BROTHERS TIRELESSLY GAVE OF THEMSELVES TO EASE THE PAIN OF MANY

You will always be remembered, Father, especially for your kindness to the Cigal family during your tenure at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Southwick. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Very sincerely,

To Joan and Mary and families- May your faith continue to help you all for your recent losses. You are in my prayers.

GOD BE WITH ALL HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT THIS TIME
