On behalf of Good Shepherd Parish in Irvington, N.J., where Jim was a valued member of the Finance Committee, let me express our profound and deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He contributed much from his vast storehouse of knowledge and helped establish Good Shepherd on a firm financial footing after the merging of the former Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Maplewood and the former St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Irvington.

So sad. Jim was a terrific guy, a true gentle soul. He was an excellent story-teller and a sports trivia colossus. I always enjoyed being in his company. He will be missed.
