Not sure what to say?

I was a kid in the 70´s when Jim worked for HIP. He lived in our house a few years. His kindness, acceptance and the abundance of shared laughter will always be cherished. My condolences to his family.

Happy Birthday ..u are always remembered...not only today but everyday! Vinnie

Jim was my cousin whom I hadn't seen since I was about 15 years old. Sorry to hear of his passing. Rest in Peace and God Bless. Thank you for your service. My condolences to his family.

Jim and Dan were two of "the big guys" in our neighborhood, along with Jimmy Donaghy. Every once in awhile they would chase us younger guys and "lock us up.". It was an exciting and fun time. They were good guys, and we looked up to them.

Great neighbor. Remembrances are times in passing, talking. What´s notable for me are his writings and archive which deserve to be preserved. As the great 60s rock albums he bought from me at the yard sale decades ago for a song, makes me feel good that he enjoyed them. They fit him to a t.

He always had new ideas for us. I got to know Jim pretty...

Jim Flanagan was a neighbor and friend of the family. He always waved and smiled in passing. He was the gentle giant. After I enlisted in the military, Jim would occasional talk about his military service. Jim had told me that he was a Forward Observer, and part of Fire Direction Control crew for field artillery units for the U.S. Army while serving during Vietnam war. Thank you Jim Flanagan for your service. God Bless and Rest in Peace.
