Not sure what to say?

I pray for Jim every day. We spent many days on the courts of the Irvington Club pounding tennis balls, now he's playing on the big court and in the not to distant future I will run into him, and I'll bring the Wilson Tennis balls.

I was a Portland Police officer in 1997 when I got involved with PAL and took over the tennis program, PAL's week long summer sports camp. Jim found me and offered to help. He steered and connected me to valuable community resources. He elevated my skills and imagination on how to be a more effective leader and tennis teacher. We worked very well together and became good friends. We liked to talk roses and flower gardening and came to trade plants. He got me involved in the Community...

I am grateful for the time Margo and I had with Ann and Jim. He lived a charmed life dedicated to serving others. Irish twinkle indeed. Sleep well, O good and faithful servant.

I was very sad to hear of Jims passing! I will never forget our many times together on the golf course! I always enjoyed his wit and our conversations about political issues. He was a witness to my hole in one at Wildwood so he will forever have that bond with me! My condolences to his family with prayers and best wishes!

Jim I was hoping to see you at the Central reunion but I guess I will have to wait for another time and place. I will always remember you as a terrific athlete Take care of your tennis.

Jim was a wonderful family friend and an especially close buddy of my dad's for many years through their love of tennis and good humor. Jim spoke very kindly at my dad's memorial service a few years ago. They were both very connected with the running of the Portland Indoor Tennis Center and the Irvington Club. I will miss Jim with all his enthusiasm and love of life. My heart goes out to Ann and the family.

Jim was a good friend and a very friendly one. I got to know him better in later years as compared to our time at the University of Portland. I could see that he was an overall good person. I will miss seeing him and Anne together at Glendoveer Golf Course. Ray Foleen

I worked with Jim Connecticut Mutual and had the opportunity to be one of his direct secretaries, assistants or whatever . We had a lot of good times at work together. I am glad Jim had a great life even our association. He was a great guy and a good man.
