James W. Frank

I still have the hand carved and signed wood teddy bear that Jim made for me as a "Christmas" present over 30 years ago on one of those church youth group backpacking trips. I have many fond memories of those trips and feel fortunate to have known Jim.

I love and miss you, Grandpa.

I met Jim Frank in 1994 when I first started working with his daughter, Nanci. Jim and Jane welcomed me to their home on several occasions and I always felt that I was the most special guest they ever had! Jim was a gentle man and I'm very happy to have had the chance to know him.

Jim and I were colleagues at both San Lorenzo High School and the San Lorenzo Adult School. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and worked with him.

Mr. James " The Man" Frank was a true gentleman, scholar and
most of all a true man of God who expressed it not just through his family but for PEOPLE in general. I feel like he never met a stranger. It was a great joy, the couple of Thanksgivings and Easter's we spent with Mr. Frank, his

Jim was one of the men of my youth. I am grateful for the time that I was able to spend around him. What I will remember mosy is is "even keeledness" whether it was working with him on session at church or facing the challenges of a backbacking trip. God bless him.
