We met Jim and Clara in Orr MN. That was the beginning of a great friendship and alot of adventures. 2 fishing trips to Canada , Charter Fishing on Lake Erie and all the fun things in between. We loved all the stories Jim shared, his great sence of humor , his kind heart and the love he had for all his family and friends. Thank you Jim for it all we will never forget you. Jim was truly a breath of fresh air for me. He was smart, funny, and always had strong views that made you think. I always looked forward to our chats.

I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was always kind, quick with a smile, and had a remarkable gift for storytelling. Jim had a lighthearted spirit and a genuine enthusiasm for life, often sharing plans for his next adventure. He will be fondly remembered and sincerely missed. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
