To the Fry family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. After growing up in Fruita and knowing the Fry's I can't imagaine him not being around to watch over everyone. May God be with you all and cherish the memories he has made for everyone. Glenda Lorimer

Thanks to all-our father was a very special man-we will miss him always.....

Jim was an icon to the valley and will
be missed by many. Hard work and family
values are hard to find and Jim displayed Both. I remember him well from both Fruita and Palisade and looked up to him. My sympathy goes out to the Fry family.

Dear Cindy and Glen,

We were sorry to learn of the passing of your family's patriarch. He must have been one of the genre we respect most … a man with the fortitude and values of the old west. May your cherished memories soothe your sorrow. Our condolences to all of your family members.

From Clarence L Johnson

As I remember

I have known Jim for eighty one years. I was nine years of age when we moved too a farm in 1929, next to the forty acres belonging to Jim’s mother. His mother had a hard time raising four children, but she was too proud to go on relief.
One thing I noticed about Jim, he was always determined to improve the property. From the very beginning Jim started improving the forty acres. One end of the forty acres was in grease wood....

For Billie,Wayne,Carol,Cheri,Glen and all of the Fry Family, my condolences. Pa always had a story and /or a lecture about how to work hard for success in your job or life. When he gave you a compilment, you knew you
had really accomplished something!
Sympathy and memories,
Faye
