Our condolences to the Gain family. Jim was truly a great UA leader and an all around good guy. Many great memories with him at the Wisconsin and Minnesota Pipe Trades Conventions. May you rest in peace my friend!

I am so sorry to hear about Jim. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I have some good memories from like 40+ years ago. May God Bless you and your family through this rough patch of life.

Jim touched so many lives through his work but most of all he was deeply loved by his family. Our condolences go out to the Gain family at this time.

Mr Gain was as fine as a man that I have ever known. Growing up in a single parent home, he was type of a father figure in my life. He was always friendly as he welcomed us (Greg's high school friends) into his home.Solid, strong, and handsome is how I remember and still can see Mr. Gain, sporting that Clark Gable mustache. My prayers are with his family, • May the God of all comfort, comfort you in all ways ." I consider Greg a brother and a forever friend, so sorry for your loss .
