Mr. James E. Gammon, Jr., age 58, departed this life on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his home in Sandston, VA. He was born on December 12, 1962 in Richmond, VA.
James was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved listening and singing along to music, especially his favorite, "Kid Rock". James was very competitive and enjoyed playing pool and poker.
He had a great genuine love for his family and everyone that he knew. James was very passionate about spending time with family and friends. James prided himself on helping people whenever they needed it and he was the life of the party. He left his mark wherever he went.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved "24-7-365 and sum change!"
James was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Suly Gammon and Alvin Knighton; father, James E. Gammon, Sr.; and his mother, Edna Gammon.
James leaves to cherish his memories: his fiance, Nancy Edmonds; son, Christopher Gammon; daughter, Brittany Seay (Robert); grandson, Colton Gammon; brothers, Stacy Reeser (Angie), Daniel Reeser (Amy), Kenneth Gammon (Jenny), Corey Gammon (Bobbi), Jamie Reeser (Ashley), James "Dinky" Gammon, and Louis "PeeWee" Sprouce; sister, Phyllis Clark; nephews, Daniel, Willy, Corey, AJ, and Peanut; nieces, Cassidy and Jalynn; three step-daughters; nine step-grandchildren including the youngest Bryson (who James gave the nickname "Buckshot"); and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
The memorial services will be private.
