God Bless you Shipmate! I had the honor and privilege of serving with Jim Gangle. If my memory serves me correctly, he was an lathe operator in the machine shop.... was an MR3 or 2. He was an easy guy to meet and talk with and I often would spend time with him in the shop as it was on the way from the After Engineroom where I first learned my trade to the Mess Hall. So many fond memories of Jim and swimming and fishing with my Dad at "Gangle's Pond".
Jim and Sue often stopped in to see Mom and Dad on Shenandoah. Dad and Jim were kindred spirits and part of brotherhood of men that served and built this country. God Bless you Jim.
