I worked with Jim many years ago at Agway Gardens. He helped me keep my first car running with parts he'd get from junk yards. One time he replaced my transmission for a nominal sum and a batch of chocolate chip cookies. It was a patchwork quilt by the time I sold it! He was always smiling and kind and had a great laugh. Even though I haven't seen him in more than 40 years, I remember him well and how he helped me when I was just starting out.

Sad to hear this news - always called him "Brian." His sons JR and Lester were great friends from my childhood, and Brian treated me as another son. My condolences to the entire Gantt Family.
