Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear the news. I was very honored to have been able to spend my weekends over the past 2 years getting to know both of you. I'm grateful to have met you and heard all the wonderful life stories you both had to tell. Oral you and James will always be in my memory. My family and I send our condolences.

Dear Opal and Family,

We send our sympathy to all of you at this time. We just heard about his passing today. Aunt Ruth had left a message that we had not heard. We are sorry for your loss, but know how much he loved all of you and are grateful that he was able to live and love all of these many years. What a wonderful Gardner legacy.

Opal, Mark, Craig and Rick,
I feel so fortunate to have known Jim Gardner. He was a wonderful man; caring, funny, smart, witty and friendly -- all the good traits that made him someone special. His Kiwanis Club family will miss him.
Sorry for your loss,
Gary Stutzman, Kiwanian

Mark: I remember your Dad as one of my Dad's doubles tennis partners. I appreciate that Jim would drop by to visit my Dad after his meetings at Cornell Estates. They would talk (loudly) about their days on the courts together. Memories in sports that did last a lifetime...

Mark and family,

I'm very sorry to learn about the loss of your Dad. He was a very memorable man.

Regards, Rob Drake

Dear Opal, Mark, Craig & Rick

It was a sad thing to learn that "Uncle Keith" has passed away. Yet it has been a joy to reminisce in memories of him. What a great legacy of a life well lived he leaves. He was an engaging story teller and for me the best stories always involved him and his exploits. I believed every one of them. I know that he loves his family. Despite the distances between us and the infrequency of our visits together he will be missed by his extended family. ...

We are sorry for your loss.
