Not sure what to say?

Its been two weeks and I still can't get my mind and heart to believe he is gone. Dad was a special father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His love, influence, and stories will always be with us.

Many thanks to all the wonderful people who came to honor my grandfather with our family on Friday and Saturday, especially the Wanamassa Fire Dept members who paid a great tribute to one of their own.

In his nearly 100 years he was able to touch so many lives in his small home town. Those of us who knew him well will keep his memory alive forever.

My mother, Helen Errickson Heyniger, was James Errickson's sister. He was married to Virginia Garrity. Our family had some very memorable times with the Garrity family. We also lived in Wanamassa for awhile until we relocated in Wall Twp.
I remember James Garrity and all his brothers and sisters, particularly Claire, Betty, Judy, and Marge. They were warm, fun-loving people. Please accept my heartfelt thoughts. James truly lived a full, rich life and I'm sure will be missed terribly by...

I am sorry to hear of your loss. He lived a long and full life. My love and prayers go out to the family; to my cousins Sandy and Jimmy Garrity. With love from Christina Quatrano.

Jim, Nancy and Family. We have all lost a great friend and mentor. Our families have always maintained close ties. Your dad was always quick to advise, and even quicker to help. I will miss his stories and candor. God bless him, your family, and the extended Garrity family of former employees.

Dear Nancy and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Father. Please accept my sincerest condolences and know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
