I have wonderful memories of Jim as an undergraduate at Amherst College. We were fraternity brothers and worked together on a variety of projects at Chi Psi Lodge. We joked that we might be relatives because my formal name is James G. Harvey and he was James Harvey G. I have followed his career over the years and extend my sympathy to his family and friends.
