One of the best physicians I have worked with. Always kind and caring to his patients and staff.

This is such heartbreaking news; I have such fond memories of wonderful conversations about art and museums and adorable Golden Retrievers. Jim was such a generous spirit, a lovely soul, and a true connector. My heart goes out to Anne, and the rest of the family. It's an enormous loss, and I'm so, so sorry. I won't ever look at another Will Barnet painting without thinking of Jim. How lucky I am to have known him!

He loved art and hoped for an art museum in Lexington. His efforts towards this goal were inspiring and he made Kentucky a better place to live. I will miss him.
