Not sure what to say?

Jim was always quite a character when we attended Sacred Heart grade school. I have many fond memories of him from childhood. I am thankful to have seen him again this past August and September at two school reunions.

Jim was the same delightfully naughty little boy...it was quite a treat!

You will be missed dear friend.

Ill always remember Jim at our highschool showchoir competitions yelling out , ”yo..fro!” He was the best supporter of us and Katie through the years. He was a man full of love and laughter. May peace be with you Jim....you will be missed.

Jim was my first friend in life, and was always just in front of in the alphabetical seating of grade school. Here he goes, in front of me again. He was a good man. I wish I could be there to say goodbye.

Dear Gearty Family,
I am so very sorry. Jim is a good man and a great friend. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace Jim. You will forever be in our hearts and in our prayers. Love always Ashley Tierney and family.

Jim,what a great man......long time friend....no rather...family member. He will be greatly missed in our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time.

James Gearty I already dearly miss this man has been a part of my life for 19 years ! I looked at him as my second dad and did a lot of fishing with him and helping him with whatever he needed! When I did something wrong he was not afraid to tell me his opinion! I think I treasured that the most! Not only was he my second dad but considered him a great friend too! I miss you already and I know you are in Heaven cracking jokes with God! RIP James Gearty I will miss you very much!25

Lion Jim will be truly missed as an active member of the Lions and a dear friend, poker buddy, and all around great person. He brought unique ways to disrupt anything WE did, and that quality will also be missed. That was just Jim. He was so active and would help anyone. You are gone way too soon. Love you and miss you buddy.
