I became a friend of Jim's at a very young age. He was a good pal of my brother, Roger Messingham. I was 10 years younger than the group of guys that used to be at my parents' house quite often. He didn't seem to care that "little sister" was often hanging around, especially watching the guys hit baseballs off my brother's pitching machine. Once he gave Roger and me a ride to school. As I got out at Lafayette School, a policeman stopped us. I never knew if Jim got a ticket or a warning or...

I had Mr.Geiger for math at Jewett and Bunger schools , he was an amazing math teacher. Mr.Geiger will definitely be missed by all!

He was my math teacher at Bunger Intermediate. I hated math but enjoyed him so much. He was so funny and genuinely seemed to enjoy us. I remember him standing out in the hallway joking with us and just making us feel light and happy. I can only imagine how great it would be to have him for a father or grandfather. I´m so glad you have peace because you know where he is. <3

Just looked at the obituaries and seen a familiar name and face, your dad was such a nice man, my husband and I would always have a nice chat with him at all the auctions. He will be missed!

He was my teacher at Bunger and he was wonderful. I loved being in his class! Sorry to hear he is gone and deepest sympathy to his family. You were so blessed to have him as family.

Hands down! Best math teacher ever! I loved his class at Bunger & I was so lucky to see him at auctions many years later. He even remembered me. Such a great teacher & kind soul. Rest in peace Mr Geiger. We will meet again!
