JAMES GENTLE

I am so sorry for your family´s loss. I just found out-I feel like I was kicked in the gut. Jim was one of my closest friends in high school. We wrestled together for four years. He had great character and an incredible sense of humour. I wish is could have met up with him again. Shawn

Jim was one of the kindest Men I´ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have unfortunately just learned of his passing tonight and my heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

Irene, I wrote this with the most profound sadness. Jim was my booster, encouraging me through my boxing career, there when my father passed away, always a friend and mentor. My heart aches hearing this and the world is a dimmer place because of his passing. If there is a way I could share some pictures with his son and wife I would like that. Thanks

I did not know James Gentle - I simply want to say that I usually simply glance at the obituaries however today, I was somehow drawn to the one written for James. It was so touching and poignant and I got a true sense of the man - and the love that many had for him. The happy memories will surely continue throughout this time.
