Not sure what to say?

Dear Dad-

It has been a year since you left us, and we’re still trying to get over our loss. We think about you every day, and wish you were here. We are so happy to have had you with us for the time that we did, and we cherish every memory. You were always so good to us, always wanting us to have whatever it was our hearts desired, and helping us to achieve them. What can we say of the times we spent together, there are so many. You have helped Keith and me in so many ways, when...

To the family, former colleagues, and friends of Jim (Fred) Gentz:

Jim was a key member of the management team at the Franchise Tax Board during my tenure as Executive Officer.

Both his computer and administrative expertise were invaluable assets during the critical months when we were preparing for and initiating the installation of personal income tax withholding (1971-72).

Jim’s creative abilities, common sense, and good humor were a credit to the civil service system....

I will always think of him as one who enjoyed family and was always happy to see everyone. He showed a happy nature to me always and sometimes his gruff ways fooled some people. I miss him.

Dear Bea and Family,

There are so many wonderful memories our families spent together. It is hard to come up with a favorite.

Our weekly bridge games that went on for years. Jim would get a tad mad when we beat the guys because they 'just knew' they were better bridge players than us gals.

Our camping trip where we were rained out of Lassen Park and headed for the coast. We camped over night on a beautiful river. A spot that Jim knew of, and we had it all to our...

Dear Bea and family,

I know you got our call, because we remembered it had been a year since Fred left us. We enjoyed seeing you recently and do miss your man.

Our love,
Steve and Marian

Hi Bea..I have done a lot of reflecting on the 40+ years we (Murray & I) have been friends with you, Fred & the boys.
My goodness there are so many memories to smile about....not enough space to list them all so I'll hit the highlights.
We all started out together on Diablo Drive in our new homes. I have pictures of Fred and Murray on our roof installing a TV antenna. There was the Beavers Little League Team where Jon and Frank learned a lot from their coach, Fred.
I have some good...

Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
there are so many wonderful memories that I have with the both of you that will last a lifetime. All the times we went fishing in our pond no matter what the weather conditions were. Grandpa and my Dad were the best fishing buddies I ever had. It was always so fun to do puzzles together because no one else had the time or the patience to sit there with me haha. Its nice to know that I am probably the only one out of my friends that could fix a blowout in a...
