Not sure what to say?

Ree and family, Nov 26, 2024

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jim‘s passing.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family.. Sending God‘s richest. Blessings with my prayers and thoughts forward.

I did not learn of JIM’s passing until a few minutes ago this evening when my friend Lynn was viewing the Collier obituary list, looking for information on a deceased friend of hers, and she called my attention late this evening.

Lynn also sends her...

So sad to hear about the passing of this wonderful man. His enthusiasm for CBC and all of its values was inspiring! I respected his leadership and example. Condolences to everyone in his family. Rest in peace, sir.

May the Angels take Jim into Paradise! Jim was a kind and generous man, a person I could count on to be present when he was needed. Jim was a great listener, as principal he had a challenging and time consuming job, but his door was most always open, and I often took a moment to drop in. I’m sorry I didn’t get to spend more time with him in retirement. God blessed me with his presence and friendship, and I am grateful. Live Jesus in Our Hearts! Forever!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gerdes family at this difficult time. Our son graduated from CBC almost 25 years ago and it was the best decision he made. Mr. Gerdes was wonderful person whom we met many times through the years. May he rest in peace.

James Gerdes was my history and geography teacher at St. Mary's High School. Mr. Gerdes was a awesome individual. My sympathy and prayers go out to his family.

To the family of James and Ree Gerdes. Sorry for your loss, your husband and father was Great mentor building strong men from CBC. My son was one of them. Thanks again from the DiRie family.

My deepest sympathy to the Gerdes family. Jim and I were both Social Studies teachers at Normandy and I really enjoyed his company. He was definitely a ray of light at Normandy and we were better off for his company.
James W. (Jim) Grace

Mr. Gerdes was a great man and educator! Rest in peace and may God bless him and his family.

Thanks for being a friend!
