Not sure what to say?

Jim was my sweetmate in college at Winthrop. He was an awesome guy and wonderful friend. We sat around many nights talking and Jim jaming out on the guitar. Rest in peace my friend.

I only just learned of Jim's passing through a Winthrop U. Magazine. I am sitting here in shock and filled with memories of Jim. He was always so fun to be around and never missed a moment to pop by my dorm room and beg for one of my "skinny ties" to wear (don't laugh...guys and gals were all wearing them back in the day.) he and I met up after graduation in charleston, sc and had a great time reconnecting. To the family of one who made a positive impact on my life and will always be fondly...

You will be missed...an empty spot will remain for your usual Sunday breakfast.
:(

I was not only your cousin but also your first baby sitter. Our families were always very close and we spent a lot of time together. I'm glad the last time I visited home I got to hear you play. I will see you again someday Cuz.

I will miss you buddy , thanks for being a great friend and watching Sheeba and my house when I traveled . The meals and good times we shared were awesome ! Always loved talking sports with you , how I forced the SEC football on you and promoted the Big South conference .

There is definitely a strong resemblance between the two images.(JAMES_GIBSON_THE_MAN_AND_CHILD_IMAGES_SIDE_BY_SIDE).*

My freshman year at Winthrop was Gib's senior year. Just about every Sunday night that year, a bunch us basketball players would come to my room. We would watch The Big Valley and eat popcorn. The show was over by 11:00 pm. Gib stayed until 3:00 am talking about cars, basketball and music. Jim had a joy of life that was infectious. He made a tough time not so tough and good time into a great time. My heart goes out to his family. Gib was loved by many. I am very thankful for the time I got...
