Dear Marilyn and family, I am really sorry for the passing of Jim. Since meeting Jim in Sydney at our home, and staying with you and family in Portland Orrgon, I have regularly thought of Jim in the many following years. I have had on my conscience to contact you all to check in and let you know I have been thinking of you all. Sorry to post this so late. Jim was a fellow author and I met him because we had the same agent. He was a truly delightful fellow and left the world a better place because of it.

May the love of friends and family help you through this difficult time. I’ve been thinking of you all❤

Jay and family, So sorry to read about the loss of your father. What an impressive human being and example for us all. I'd say the world lost a bit of it's flavor with his passing. Phi Psi Presjak

Great doctor and neighbor for a time. A loss to us all.

Hello, Marilyn, this is Dorothy Arthur's daughter, Carolyn. Mom is now 102 and, of course, is not computer literate so she asked me to send her condolences to you and the family on the loss of your husband. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Marilyn,
Our deepest sympathies are with you. Jim was a wonderful person and we were lucky to have known him.

Dear Marilyn and family. Both Jack and I remember Jim with such affection with his positive, friendly and inclusive spirit. What a life you shared. Sending our condolences at this time. You had a great partnership Marilyn and were such a good match. The world was a better place with Jim in it both with his valuable professional contributions and his personal energy. Sending love.
