JAMES P. GILL, SR., age 94, beloved husband of Judy (nee McGunagle), the late Joan (nee Dunn); loving father of Susan Nelson, Patricia Gill-Winget, Maureen Mazanec (Mark, deceased), Nora Budinger (Gary), James P. Jr. (Kim Leuschel), Katie Smith, Sara Kuntz (Ron) and Joanie Soeder (John); proud Grandpa of Robert Nimylowycz, Michael Nimylowycz and Amy Robinson (Matt); Ben Winget (Sarah), Libby Alsayegh (Raed) and J'aime Sherman; Mark Mazanec, Marty Mazanec (Sarah), Matt Mazanec and Melisa Fisco (Nick); Joseph Budinger and Emmanuel Forge; Andy Gill (Nichole), Charlie Gill (Enada Malasi) and Sky Gill; Kaitlin Smith; Chelsea Berg and Christopher Berg (Liz); Colin Soeder, Sean Soeder and Julia Soeder; great-Grandpa of Xavier, Natalia and Jakiv Nimylowycz; Matt, Olivia and Lucia Robinson; Emma, Jack and Sadie Winget; Ares Malasi-Gill; Oliver and Evelyn Berg; son of the late Anna (nee Golden) and John Gill; brother of Brendan Gill (Joyce) and the late John Gill, Joe Gill (Priscilla), Tom Gill (Joyce) and Margaret Kelly (Owen); beloved uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.  U.S. Army veteran.  Jim retired as Regional Director for East Ohio Gas Company.  He passed away early in the morning of January 28, 2022.  Funeral Mass SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12, St. Patrick Church, 3602 Bridge Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 at 10 A.M.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 4-7 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Patrick Church, 3602 Bridge Ave., Cleveland, OH  44113.

Through my incarceration's his enlightenment of spiritual education has given me strength unto the faith of belief that has guided me through my times of trials and tribulations. In this I am most thankful of. Thank you.

My husband and I had the pleasure of singing with Jim in the Amherst Community Chorus for many years. I have a lot of great memoriesof those days.
